Replica of the original safety and dry-firing device that was used by the Norwegian army for the Model 1867 Remington rolling block rifles. Prevents damage to the hammer and firing pin when you dry fire the rifle. Made from thick leather.
The piece of leather is placed over the hammer and prevents the hammer from reaching the firing pin when you pull the trigger. A leather cord for securing the device to the sling swivel is included.
